I had mohs surgery performed by Dr Brauer today and am very favorably impressed with all phases of my treatment including the demeanor of the entire office staff, the appearance and cleanliness of the entire facility and the expertise of the doctor. The fact that I was seen at the scheduled time is a plus that very seldom happens these days in my experience

Dr. Brauer and his staff took excellent care of me. They were attentive to my needs and they treated me so kindly. The results exceeded my expectations. I won't go anywhere else!

Recently, I had to go to Dr. Brauer for a MOHS treatment. It was my second time going to him for MOHS. From the moment you contact the office to the conclusion, you are treated with respect and the utmost care. Dr. Brauer demonstrates compassionate care. After the initial MOHS procedure, you are ushered into a waiting area with snacks and beverages while you wait for the results. Upon completion of the procedure, you are given comprehensive aftercare instructions by his excellent staff. Dr. Brauer also calls you the following day to check in. Dr. Brauer is an excellent surgeon and will review the options with you before proceeding with treatment. I cannot recommend him and his staff highly enough.

Dr. Brauer is absolutely incredible. He’s patient, genuinely listens, never rushes, and is meticulous with his work. He completely crushed my Clear and Brilliant treatment - my skin looks better than it did five years ago. I actually feel it looks best without makeup now, and that’s such a beautiful feeling. 10/10, I couldn’t recommend him more, and I’m excited to see how my skin continues to improve under his care.

I am so happy that I was referred to this place. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment, which I personally feel is pretty standard for NY. For a cosmetic consultation, I was informed I had to pay $500 and that money can be applicable for the total laser treatment cost (it can cost up to thousands). Dr. Jeremy Brauer was extremely kind and patient. I went to another dermatologist that diagnosed me just by looking without performing any tests but Dr. Brauer performed a biopsy and changed my visit so it can bill my insurance so I only had to pay a $40 copay. I was really nervous about everything but he and his staff made sure I was comfortable and safe. He said after recovery it’s possible that I wouldn’t even need laser treatment and he was right. It healed wonderfully and I got a concrete diagnosis. I saved thousands of dollars as well. Overall my experience was positive. I think Dr. Brauer is a true professional and cares about the work he does. Thank you to the staff here!

There isn’t enough I can say about Dr Miller. She’s a wonderful doctor. I feel confident in her care and would recommend her to anyone! Whether your needs are cosmetic or dermatological she’s a perfect fit! She’s the best there is!

Competent and caring service. I found all staff from front desk to med assistants to both Dr. Brauer and Dr, Miller extremely helpful. Both Dr, Brauer and Dr. Miller took time to describe procedures I was undergoing in a manner that was both informative and reassuring

I just had the worst experience as a returning patient and will not be going back. I called the office 3 weeks ago asking to be seen for a rash that was very uncomfortable. They said the earliest they could squeeze me in was 3 weeks out. I asked to be put on the waitlist as I could not wait 3 weeks for an imminent skin issue. I called them back a few days later telling them that my condition worsened. They said there was nothing they could do. I pressed further and even agreed to a Telehealth but the doctors won’t prescribe anything unless they see me in person. The receptionist put me On hold but didn’t realize I could hear her when she noted that the doctor had a few open slots on her schedule that week. She proceeded to get back to me and told me she would have to call me back to see if they can have me seen earlier. She never called me back. Fast forward to my appointment- I waited 45 minutes for the doctor to confirm that I had poison ivy. The appointment was less than 3 minutes. I asked her if she could do a body scan since I was already there and in a gown but the doctor refused stating that would need to be a different visit (so that they can bill insurance for an additional visit). I paid $50 for a copay for the doctor to see me 3 weeks after my exposure to poison ivy. I asked for a specific steroid that was the only treatment that has historically helped when I had poison ivy a few years back and she confidently told me my insurance probably won’t cover it. I asked her to prescribe it anyway so that we can see if they in fact won’t cover it. The doctor was very clear and frankly explained that she will not be putting any effort into a prior authorization if my insurance denied the prescription. I told her to prescribe it and have the backup alternative ready in case the preferred medication won’t go through. Thankfully my insurance covered it with no issue. If you are wondering what it’s like to be treated so poorly at a doctors office you spend lots of money on then you should definitely make an appointment at Spectrum! They qualify for one of the worst bedside mannered practices I’ve encountered. Oh, and the other appointment I had prior to this was pretty painful. I waited over an hour to be seen for a total of 8 minutes for a full body scan. These people have the audacity to bill insurance for hundreds of dollars to have patients wait forever so that they can be seen for a few minutes. Zero effort from this provider.

I was referred to Dr. Brauer after my dermatologist diagnosed me with Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) on my ear. The receptionist was very friendly and I was able to book an appointment right away. I came in for a consultation and was greeted warmly by all of the staff. Dr. Brauer explained what BCC is, the process that he uses to remove it and answered any questions that I had. I booked the procedure 2 weeks later. Although I was at the office for several hours on the procedure day, I appreciate the thoroughness that Dr. Brauer used to ensure all of the cancer had been removed and left with relief and no pain. I highly recommend Spectrum Skin & Laser and especially Dr. Brauer for any skin care needs.

My dermatologist recommended Dr. Brauer for the basal cell carcinoma on the upper level of my forehead. I was extremely pleased that the surgery although somewhat complex due to the width of the surgery required on the skin coupled with the very little skin available to repair the growth. Dr Brauer did a highly commendable surgery and there was virtually no evidence of any scar about 12 weeks later! Dr Brauer and his staff were all very courteous and professional. I recommend Spectrum Skin and Laser enthusiastically!

After 2 years with an unhealing wound, I went to Dr. Brauer for Mohs surgery. He then directed me with methods to heal the wound. He and his staff are knowledgible and caring.

My husband was referred to Dr Jeremy Brauer at Spectrum Skin and Laser for Mohs surgery on his forehead. First impression was comforting in his office. We were seen on time and he was extremely clear on what to expect. Day of the surgery, Dr. Brauer was very professional and informative on every step of the procedure. This was a very deep cut and my husband was not uncomfortable at any time. His aftercare was discussed and all in all we can only paise the staff in knowing their responsibilities, being accurate-clean-and attentive. Dr Brauer personally called bright and early the following day to check on the patient. For exceptional, up to date surgery, we highly recommend Dr Jeremy Brauer.

Dr Brauer took time out of his busy office schedule to speak at a retired Detectives luncheon, offering his services to the 1st responders of the 9/11 terrorist attack, with any skin type of cancers. He gave out his contact number, little did i know, it was his personal cell number. a month later i was in his office for my 1st surgery to perform several cancers contracted during my exposure to the toxins at the World Trade Center. Dr Brauer and Dr Miller and their staff are the most skilled and caring Dr's that you can possible see, and be treated by. If could give 10 stars, I most certainly would, as they are most deserving of more than 5 Stars.

I've been to 8 dermatologist and 2 Mohs surgeons in the past 22 years over many skin cancer issues, Dr Brauer and his team are hands down THE BEST. Informative, honest and concerned! The interesting part is Dr Brauer was actually referred by 2 other dermatologists.

My first apt to skin and laser was with Dr Miller. She found the basil cell I had so quickly, she was quite amazing. I have so much confidence in her. When I met Dr Brauer for the mohs surgery I was terrified. The nurses and assistants were so kind, and Dr Brauer is the best without a doubt. I figured I’d have a giant scar after he put at least eight stitches across my nose. Not the case. Each day after it just looked better and better. It’s like it never happened. I am so grateful. He’s like a plastic surgeon. The whole office is quite amazing. Thank you to all of you.

I went to Dr Brauer for MOHS surgery on my face very close to my lip. It was my first experience having MOHS and I must say I was very pleased with how surgery went. Both the doctor and the staff explained the procedure as it was happening and made sure I was comfortable. While waiting for results a staff member came in to the waiting room to check on all patients to see if anyone needed anything. The waiting room was equipped with refrigerated water as well as a variety of snacks and the staff could not have been kinder.

Dr. Brauer and his staff are very kind, professional and efficient. It's a nice facility with lots of parking. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Dr Brauer did Mohs surgery on my face and it is hard to find where it was done! I highly recommend Dr Brauer.

Dr. Jeremy Brauer has treated me for three basal cell carcinomas (scalp, shoulder, and chest). I first saw him for treatment when he was in NYC. Now that he’s in Westchester I drive two hours each way to see him from Staten Island - because he’s the best! I’ve consulted with different dermatologists in NYC and none have made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Brauer or provided me with as good a prognosis. He’s the most efficient and talented Mohs surgeon I’ve come across.

Dr. Miller is the Best dermatologist I have found. She diagnosed my problem and prescribed the correct drug and got it approved! I had gone to 3 other doctors before, with no results. My condition is gone now! I feel great.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Brauer’s for regular skin checks, Mohs surgery, and most recently for Fraxel. Dr. Brauer takes the time to thoroughly explain any procedures and walk through (many) questions. His office staff is warm and welcoming and the wait time is always great. I am extremely happy with my recent Fraxel procedure. The results have been great and have incentivized me to be extra diligent with my skin care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Brauer came "highly" recommended to perform necessary Mohs surgery by my Dermatologist, not affiliated with Spectrum Skin and Laser and suffice to say, her recommendation was spot on. Dr. Brauer was challenged to perform two different surgeries on two different BCC's, both quite challenging due to size and scope. In both instances he prepared me for the likelihood that each could require skin graph. After two attempts on each site, he succeeded in eliminating the cancer and was able to stitch both, one completely and the other partially with a very different aftercare regimen. Although still recovering/healing the results are exactly as he outlined and quite amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with his crystal clear description of events surrounding the surgeries as well as the aftercare, coupled with the excellent followup to include members of his team. 30 days following the surgeries, I engaged with Dr. Miller for a full body scan and appear to be in good condition - take it from this Southern California surfer boy now in my sixties, use sun screen!

This is an amazing practice. Both Drs. Bauer and Miller are experts in their fields and kind. They both provide exceptional care. The office also has a wonderful team. I cannot recommend them both more! 5 stars!

His expertise was apparent from our initial consultation, and was really well balanced by his personality and ease of patient interactions (this is a rare combination in health care, for sure). Dr. Brauer and his team are incredible. I’ve been going to Spectrum skin and Laser now for roughly 6 months, for my Keloid injection. For years I’ve struggled with the Keloid. I have to say that I am thrilled with the result of my scar since I started going to Dr. Brauer. My Keloid has flattened out so nicely.
